Nestled between the Royal Exhibition Building and the vast, architecturally acclaimed concourse of the Melbourne Museum, Museum Plaza runs all the way from Nicholson Street right through to Rathdowne Street.

Regularly used as public event space or for outdoor exhibitions, this immense area is an exciting platform for any number of events wanting to spotlight wonder. With nearly 8000 square metres of open-air space, there’s plenty of room for multiple marquees, creative activations and other large-scale installations.

7850m² for the full plaza, half that for either the East or West half, able to be hired as a joining feature for events comprising both Melbourne Museum and the Royal Exhibition Building.
